May 19th is the exciting day that Olivia, our groomer will be back in action. Grooming appointments are available for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Call to make your reservation now. This is dependent that the non-essential business closure order is lifted May 18th. If it is extended we are not allowed to offer grooming and all grooming reservations will be canceled. We will continue operating with altered hours and will continue enforcing the 6 feet distancing. We are asking for everyone to help maintain that with us. The average dog leash is 6 feet long. We ask for everyone to let their dog run to us and then let go of the leash inside our lobby. Please do not walk up to us and hand over the leash . This will help ensure the safety of everyone and minimize contact. The front desk will be open on Saturdays with altered hours. It will remain closed on Sundays. The 20% off boarding and retail promotion will be ending May 18th. The 20% off full daycare days promotion will end May 22nd. Daycare drop-off and pick-up times are between the new desk hours. Daycare will be returning to their normal schedule May 19th and will be out from 9am – 12pm and 2pm – 5pm, a total of 6 hours of play. Coronavirus Update 3/15/20 Cape Cod Pet Resort is taking the Coronavirus (COVID-19) threat seriously and we are continuously monitoring the situation. We would like to inform our clients on a few key points on changes that may affect your services here. We will be cleaning and sanitizing all high touch places hourly and will happily clean anything before your use upon request. We regularly clean and sanitize the entire faculty, and all runs are cleaned every day. We are adding extra cleaning and sanitizing protocols for the duration of this pandemic. Due to the longer cleaning and sanitizing periods, touring of our facility may not be available at all times of the day because of slippery wet floors. We recommend touring in the afternoon after 2pm. TOURS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. PLEASE SEE MOST CURRENT UPDATE ABOVE. According to the CDC there are zero reports of any pets or animals contracting or showing symptoms of COVID-19. They also believe that animals cannot spread COVID-19. Falmouth public schools are closing because of the pandemic but we feel that with our cleaning and sanitizing protocols that doggie daycare is safe to continue. We are open for normal daycare hours. None of our employees have traveled out of the country in the last year and to the best of our knowledge have not been exposed to COVID-19. If you are sick or believe to be exposed to the Coronavirus please stay at home, seek medical assistance and get better soon. The Cape Cod Pet Resort can house any pets for however long a client needs. Friends and family can always pick up a pet with prior notification to us. We understand that travel restrictions and recommendations on staying home is impacting everyone. If you need to cancel or alter any reservations, please notify us as soon as possible and tell us it if it is because of COVID-19.
